Rank Predictor FAQs
How is ANM GNM rank calculated?
Rank is based on total marks obtained in the exam. Category 1 questions carry +1 mark with −0.25 negative marking, while Category 2 questions carry +2 marks with no negative marking. In case of a tie in marks, the older candidate is ranked higher (age as tiebreaker).
When will the rank card be released?
The rank card / merit list is expected in July 2026 along with the official result at wbjeeb.nic.in. Candidates can download their rank card after logging in with their application number and date of birth.
What rank is needed for a Government college?
Based on 2024–25 data, a General rank below 3,000 gives a good chance at a government nursing college. For SC/ST candidates, a rank below 1,500 is competitive for government seats. OBC-A/OBC-B cutoffs fall between these ranges. Always apply in all available rounds to maximise your chances.
