Major Update: Age Limit Officially Removed for 2026
In a landmark decision, the West Bengal government announced the removal of the upper age limit for ANM and GNM nursing admissions effective from the 2026 batch. Previously, candidates were required to be between 17–35 years of age. With this change, anyone who has passed Class 12 with PCB is now eligible to apply, regardless of age. This opens doors for mature learners, working adults, and career changers to pursue a nursing career in West Bengal.
