Origin of the Postponement Rumors

Recently, multiple unofficial social media channels, Telegram groups, and local blogs reported that the ANM GNM 2026 entrance exam would be postponed due to administrative reasons and overlap with other state exams. This led to panic among aspirants who were preparing in the final stretch.

Official WBJEEB Clarification

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) published a notice urging candidates to disregard unofficial notices. The board confirmed that:

  • The ANM(R) & GNM Common Entrance Exam will be held on **June 14, 2026** in a single session (12:00 PM to 1:30 PM).
  • Admit cards will be available for download from **June 4, 2026** onwards on wbjeeb.nic.in.
  • No further extension will be granted for application forms or correction windows.

What Should Candidates Do?

Aspirants are advised to focus on revision instead of following speculative reports.
